What was the highlight of Weekender Bungalow

Small quiet bungalow with a great porch

Small, clean, peaceful location. We stayed in a very small bungalow with good wifi access that we quite enjoyed. It was very simple but met our needs. The staff was lovely and we were able to rent a motorbike.

The only thing I will say is that the mosquito netting was not adequate, we definitely got bitten. Other than that, the bungalows are a great place to stay in Lamai. I will add that on the main road in one direction things are more family-oriented, and in the other direction is a lot of restaurants and bars that center sex tourism.

Very affordable, basic amenities but presented well and a very quiet place considering the location.

The lady who greeted me at reception (Khun Oom, I think) was lovely, explained everything well and did not pressure me with anything. The location was good and I walked everywhere

Wonderful

The staff was very nice. The accommodation was simple but nice with chairs and table outside which was very cosy. It was clean. The common area are really perfect to work or chill & the small kitchen is very convenient.

Pleasant

The room we stayed in was exactly as it was described and shown in the pictures. The fan in the room was really powerful so that was nice as it can get quite hot in the huts. Reception staff were really helpful. Location was good.

The floor feels a little unstable.

Wonderful

Great location and price and right next to the main street. The staff were friendly and there is a DIY washing machine and drier next door for only 100 baht. Would definitely recommend staying here if on a budget.

Was quite a few mosquitos and lizards in and about the room. ( Just to make people aware the super cheap option does not include Aircon)

Good location.

The bungalows are not sound proof, you can hear a lot of noise with people coming back late at night & leaving early in the morning. There was a few lizards & a cockroach in the room. Bed was uncomfortable.

Wonderful

The reception lady, (I think the owner) is very friendly. She helpend us also with some plan changing things that needed a fieuw telephone calls. There is a good and quiet atmosfeer around the bungalows. Very good value for money place.

Little oasis

Our hut was simple but cosy and cute. It was very clean inside. They provide cleaning every second day.Staff was lovely and very welcoming. Huts were surrounded by beautiful garden with many butterflies and little birdiea. We really loved our stay.

The sisters in the reception were very kind all the time. They helped us with every issue from the beginning. Everything was as in the pictures, very quiet place and everything so clean. Perfect locaion in Lamai. We would definitely go again.

It was a bungalow with a fen, a terrace in front and washing lines and a own bathroom. Helpfull staff. It was close the beach.

The toilet had no flush. We skipped water with a bucket in it.

Perfect place in Lamai Beach area

I would definitely recommend this accommodation in Lamai beach. It has great location, there are many bars, restaurants and shops around. 7/11 is just at the corner. The beach is quite close as well. The apartament was very nice with a terrace. The staff is very pleasant.

Excellent super budget place to stay in Lamai.

Its a wooden bungalow and very small but has a great balcony and a shower/ toilet. It is only for people on a budget but I used it as it is central and super convenient and the price was a giveaway. I will certainly go back. The girl who runs the place is very friendly and helpful.

Excellent budget option if you pick the basic accommodation...

Excellent budget option if you pick the basic accommodation option. Cannot complain. There is no hot water in the bungalows but you dont need it as its so hot.

The bungalow rooms were not sealed well so mosquitos got in. A mozzie net over the bed would have been brilliant.

This is my second stay in two years.

This is my second stay in two years. I have previously stayed in the larger bungalows but this time opted for the authentic beach huts. The stay didn’t disappoint again. Super cute and perfect location for lamai. Literally on the strip but you can’t hear any noise at all. The staff are super helpful and friendly.

We should have upgraded again to the bigger bungalows but that was purely our choice!

Best place on island to stay if you are openminded...

Best place on island to stay if you are openminded adventurer like we do. There is lot of space for two people inside. We spend more than two weeks in one of them, and it was supercool. Even better and more authentic than a 1000 euro villa. Absolutely recomend

Centrally located in Lamai, not far from beach. The main building rooms are spacious and very clean. The bungalows are good value. The staff are very helpful and friendly and rooms are regularly cleaned.

The bungalows allow for creepy crawlies to get in as must be expected in hut.

Looks worse than it is

Room looks worse than it really is, for the price it was a quite nice budget hostel, we stayed for 4 nights, helped save a lot of money for the rest of the trip.

Water was smelly when it rained. Place wasn't very peaceful to relax because of construction noises.
